  • FAQs

    Can our menu be tailor made?
    Due to the varying nature of our events, menus are discussed on an individual basis.

    Can you cater for dietary requirements?
    Yes, our chefs are able to adapt dishes to suit dietary needs.
    Dietary requirements must be clearly noted on the pre order & received by our events team 2 weeks prior.

    Can we use our own caterers?
    No, we do ask that all catering is carried out by our inhouse team of chefs.

    Can I bring my own alcohol?
    Yes, however corkage will be charged at £15 per bottle for wine, prosecco or champagne & £25 for magnums.

    Do I have to set up my own decorations?
    No, this will be carried out by our events team. Decorations must be delivered 24hrs prior with any boxes clearly labelled.

    Can we use our own suppliers?
    Yes, if of interest we do have a recommended supplier list. For third party suppliers we will require a copy of their public liability insurance & PAT certificates for any electrical equipment as well as contact details.

    Can we have outdoor games or bouncy castles?
    You are very welcome to provide outdoor games for the lawn area, however we are not able to accommodate bouncy castles.

    Are Fireworks or Chinese lanterns allowed?
    Unfortunately not due to disturbance to our neighbours & livestock

    Can I have music?
    We have built in Sonos speakers providing back ground music.

    What time does the bar close?
    For hotel residents our bar is open 24 hrs. Non resident guests will not be served after 1am.

    Who is responsible for clearing down?
    Our Team at the Pheasant will pack away all your items which will be ready for you the following morning, we do ask that these items are removed promptly before check out.

    Do you have parking?
    We have a large carpark & a second overflow car park.
    Cars left overnight are at the owner’s risk, for collection the following morning.
    If of interest, we do have a list of local taxi companies, but please remember to book one in good time.

    What time is Check in/Check out of the bedrooms?
    Check in is from 3pm & check out is by 10.30am the following day.

    Is VAT included in your prices?
    Vat is included in all our prices.

Had a wonderful weekend with family celebrating our 5oth wedding anniversary. Staff all welcoming and gave us friendly, professional service throughout. The food was wonderful and the rooms comfortable with everything you could need. We all had a relaxed, happy time together.

We held our 25th wedding vow renewal party here last Saturday and the place was amazing. The Orangery and gardens were perfect for us. Food was superb and the service was slick and inobtrusive. Cannot find a single negative comment. Our guests which stayed at the hotel had a great experience too. Super hotel, beautiful setting, luxury rooms and very dog friendly. My 49+ Birthday celebrations were always going to include four legged friends. This hotel ticked every box. Private Dining, champagne reception, extensive celebration menu nothing was to much trouble Becki Miles Events Manager absolute diamond. Food fantastic catered for gluten free and pescatarians. Becki your team is a credit to you the moment we met I knew my 49+1 Big Birthday Bash would be fantastic. Valuis & Archie thanks to you also, you ran around our guests serving drinks always smiling. The next day breakfast was set for 22 guests & doggies welcome in the Orangery really was perfect end to a fabulous weekend. We will definitely be back, would highly recommend this hotel

We enjoyed an excellent evening to celebrate a birthday. We ate in the Orangery and the food was first class. Very good service and very good value. All three generations had good choice and really enjoyed the menu.
