The Pheasant endeavours to provide a high standard of customer care to all of our guests no matter what their need, but we ask that you inform staff at the time of booking if you or a guest has special requirements.

Accessibility at The Pheasant

Arrival

As you arrive at The Pheasant to the left of the hotel entrance, you will find two parking spaces reserved for disabled blue badge holders. There are a further two spaces at the rear entrance of the hotel.

Reception

The reception is located on the ground floor of the hotel, to the left-hand side as you enter through the main entrance. If assistance is required to take your luggage to your room, please ask the receptionist.

If assistance is required in the event of an evacuation, please advise the receptionist, but please also note this in the relevant section on your registration card.

The following accessible aids are available: (where possible, please request these at the time of booking)

Raised toilet seat, plastic chair (which can be placed in the walk-in showers) and a folding wheelchair.

Bedrooms

Twenty four bedrooms are located on the ground floor, all accessed by a gentle carpeted slope (no stairs). Of which, three sets of bedrooms are interconnecting. All bedrooms have super king size beds, which can be twin beds (if required, please request this at the time of booking). The flooring in the bedrooms is short pile carpet and the bathroom flooring is tiled.

One ground floor room is an accessible room, with the bathroom being designed for wheelchair users. The bathroom is a wet room and has a lowered washbasin, a grab bar positioned at the side of the toilet and a shower seat.

Room service is 24 hours and items of furniture can be moved or removed on request.

Public Areas

The restaurant, orangery, bar and accessible toilet are located on the ground floor. Baby changing facilities are located in the accessible toilet. The terrace and gardens can be accessed via the restaurant and orangery doors (using a folding ramp). The terrace is level and paved.

Guide dogs are welcomed in all public areas.

Transport

The nearest train station is Sheringham, 3.8 miles from The Pheasant.

There are several local taxi companies. Taxies can be booked at reception.
