March

Hurrah! Hurrah! The sun is shining and has been for a week now.  The snowdrops are covering the banks in the grounds with swathes of white and the daffodils, anxious to make up for lost time are competing to be the first in flower.  It is still cold but the blue sky and sunshine make you feel that spring is not too far off.

Some bedrooms have been given a spring freshener with a new colour of paint and routing maintenance and improvements have been carried out to make sure that guests continue to enjoy their stay.

The hotel has been busy with bridge weeekends and embroidery and art groups and  now we have returning and new guests filling the hotel until the end of the month.  The Bird Tour in April is fully booked and guests have filled in the Bird Log in reception with lots of sightings.
